The OVERFAST Vela is a seriously lightweight carbon crankset built around a simple idea: remove unnecessary weight without compromising the stiffness and response expected from a performance crank.

Full carbon crank arms are finished in matte carbon with crisp white OVERFAST branding, giving the Vela a clean, understated appearance that works across almost any build.

Available with either a Ti24 24mm titanium axle or 29mm axle, Vela weighs from just 301g in a 165mm configuration.

Understated by Design

Vela doesn't need an elaborate finish to stand out.

The exposed matte carbon and minimal white graphics keep things deliberately simple, allowing the construction and proportions of the crank to do the talking.

It's a particularly easy crankset to integrate into a build — subtle enough to work with almost any frame and groupset, while still looking every bit like the premium component it is.

Built Around Performance

At the heart of Vela is a full carbon crank arm construction, developed to combine low weight with the stiffness required for efficient power transfer.

In a 165mm configuration, the Ti24 version weighs just 301g, while the 29mm version weighs 308g.

That exceptionally low weight makes Vela a compelling option for lightweight road builds without sacrificing the direct, responsive feel expected from a performance crankset.

Two Axle Options

Vela is available with a choice of axle standards, allowing the crankset to suit a wider range of builds and bottom bracket configurations.

Ti24 — 24mm

The Ti24 version uses a 24mm titanium axle, combining broad bottom bracket compatibility with exceptionally low weight.

29mm

The 29mm version provides an alternative for riders building around the increasingly common larger-diameter axle standard.

Easton-Compatible Direct Mount

Vela uses an Easton-compatible direct mount interface, opening up a wide choice of compatible spiders, chainrings and power meter configurations.

This allows the crankset to be configured around the drivetrain and gearing requirements of the individual build rather than locking the rider into a proprietary chainring system.

Vela or Vela GR?

The Vela and Vela GR share the same performance-focused platform, but take two very different approaches to finishing.

Vela keeps things understated with its matte carbon construction and clean white OVERFAST graphics, while also offering the choice of 24mm Ti24 or 29mm axle.

Vela GR takes a more expressive approach with OVERFAST's distinctive individually finished GR carbon pattern and is available exclusively with the Ti24 titanium axle.

One is deliberately understated. The other is designed to stand apart.

Both are unmistakably Vela.
